Mr. President

900 birth day Greetings sent through short message service to SBY Cell Phone
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received more than 900 birthday greetings sent through short message service to his cell phone, the First Lady’s cell phone and those staying in the Presidential Palace.
On his 62nd birthday, the President held a special press conference in his working office at the Presidential Palace on Friday to deliver his impressions on the birthday celebration.
“Since this morning I received birthday greetings from the people of Indonesia via SMS and phone calls. I also monitored [birthday greetings] conveyed through Facebook and Twitter,” Yudhoyono said, as quoted by Antara news wire.
Yudhoyono said that he received more than 250 phone calls on Friday.
“For those fond wishes, I want to extend my gratitude and great appreciation for your attention and friendship,” he said.
The President said he could not promise everything, but would hard work for the people who had prayed for him to be more patient, tougher and more resilient while continuing his leadership.
He also apologized to people who may have felt that their expectations had been left unaddressed.
“I accepted this mandate and duty, but I am aware that such complex problems require time, hard work and cooperation. Surely, it will take more than one or two days, or one or two months. For that reason, I will never be able to please everyone, so I apologize and I will continue to fulfill my duty,” he asserted.
